Inaugural lecture Professor Marijn Molema (University of Groningen)

On 28 January 2022, Professor Marijn Molema, fellow of the N.W. Posthumus Institute, held his inaugural lecture ‘Dialectiek van ons regionale ontwikkelingsstreven’ [Dialetics of our regional development goal] at his public acceptance of the Professorship by special appointment ‘Regionale Vitaliteit & Dynamiek’ [Regional Vitality & Dynamics]. Through this professorship, Professor Molema aims to provide an impetus to more actively connect regional history to current (policy) issues. This Professorship is endowed by the Fries Sociaal Planbureau and hosted by the department ofย  Economic and Social History at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Groningen.

The N.W. Posthumus Institute congratulates Professor Molema with this appointment.
